Biography
Asal Shafiei was a 21-year-old computer engineering student who was killed by security forces during protests in the Nazi Abad district of Tehran on January 8, 2026. She was only one semester away from completing her degree when she chose to stand against oppression. Her family reportedly searched for her for several days before her death was confirmed.
عسل شفیعی، دانشجوی ۲۱ ساله مهندسی کامپیوتر، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات در محله نازیآباد تهران توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر کشته شد. او که تنها یک ترم تا پایان تحصیلاتش فاصله داشت، ایستادگی در برابر ظلم را انتخاب کرد. خانواده او روزها در جستوجوی او بودند تا اینکه خبر جانباختن او تایید شد.
